County

The County College Bar (also known as ‘The Northern Oak’) has a contemporary feel appealing to all students and staff alike. The bar area incorporates the County Diner, which is open throughout the day in term-time offering extremely good value snacks and light meals. The bar serves a changing selection of real ales, serves espresso and cappuccino coffees, and promotes a lively cocktail list!

The bar was refurbished in 2006 and has quickly developed into a popular bar hosting a range of events throughout the Academic Year, along with projector TV facilities. The JCR Executive often utilise the DJ booth for lively discos and promoting live music. The Pool Room is adjacent to the bar area.

You may be asked for identification as proof of age and drinks purchased elsewhere (e.g. a supermarket) must not be brought onto our licensed premises
